The holiday season is approaching quickly, beginning this week and like riding different waves in my world, Black Friday Shopping is Evolving!

  • Early Birds: 60% of shoppers now start hunting deals weeks before.
  • Online Wins: 70% are opting for online deals to skip the crowds and score big.
  • Techy Tricks: 80% using mobile apps for easy price checks and exclusive deals.
  • Extending the Season: Deals over weeks not days, starting early November through Cyber Monday.
  • e-Commerce Reigns: Online deal focus; it’s where the action’s at for most retailers.
  • Blurring Occasions: Black Friday through Cyber Mondayโ€”blurred now, with similar deals across both days.
  • Sneak Peeks: Stores dropping early to get us hyped and shopping ahead.

What does the future hold? How will the economy’s twistsโ€”higher rates, pricier gas and groceriesโ€”affect our shopping mood?

Will Amazon Prime Days grow? Will we cut back on gifts? And will we chase big Black Friday discounts after a slow year?

No doubt, that makers and sellers are in a tough spot, fighting for our gift dollars.
